Kanha’s forests are one of the richest tiger habitats in the world. They are currently home to about 120 majestic tigers and more than 50 species of mammals. Additionally there are approximately 300 species of birds, about 120 species of butterflies and around 600 species of plants & trees.

Immortalised by Kipling’s “Jungle Book” Kanha’s forests are some of the richest tiger habitats in the world. It’s mesmerizing Sal and Bamboo jungles, valleys and long plateaus lie like a velvet mantle over the ancient, secretive undulations of the Maikal Hills. If you place a finger on the map of India, where the States of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh meet, you find Kanha. Delicately shaped like a bird in flight, Kanha is currently home to about 120 majestic tigers. This park also boasts the presence of more than 50 species of mammals, approximately 300 species of birds, about 120 species of butterflies and around 600 species of plants & trees. Bagh Villas Safaris

Get to know this magical forest on an intimate level by experiencing Kanha National Park the Bagh Villas way on a meticulously curated game drive guided by one of our naturalists. Search for pugmarks and listen intently for langur and spotted deer alarm calls while we take you into the depths of Kanha’s wilderness as the search for the tiger intensifies.

Your safari will take you through one of the four tourism zones within the core area of the park, namely Kisli, Mukki, Kanha and Sarhi. Our naturalists will do their best to ensure opportunities for spectacular sightings and photography. Each of our custom safari vehicles can accommodate up to 6 guests per jeep.

There are three types of safaris everyday*
Morning Safari: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Afternoon Safari: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Full Day Safari: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

*Please note that on Wednesdays only morning safaris are available, as the park remains closed to the public on Wednesday afternoons.
*Please note that timings may change without any prior notice based on weather conditions in Kanha.

Confirmation: Only on receipt of non-refundable voucher 60 days prior to check in.
Cancellation: 50% retention if cancelled within 40 to 15 days of arrival and 100% retention if cancelled within 15 days of arrival.
