Born and raised in Madhya Pradesh, Prahlad was exposed to biodiversity and natural beauty from a young age and developed a deep appreciation for the abundant flora and fauna of the area. Armed with a degree in Botany and Biology, he has been working as a naturalist in the jungles of Kanha Tiger Reserve for the last several years.

Mayuresh Joshi

Mayuresh has always been drawn to the beauty and complexity of the wild, the defining moment being a tiger sighting at the age of 8. Having worked closely with the forest department in the rescue and rehabilitation of wild animals, Mayuresh has spent most of his career as a naturalist in the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra’s oldest National Park.

Mohan has been at the forefront of wildlife conservation in India for decades. Passionate about arousing interest and educating the next generation about the urgent necessity of conserving our precious flora and fauna. we will conserve only what we love, we will love only what we understand and we will understand only what we are taught.

Akhilesh Nair

Akhilesh Nair (Umesh) started his career working for the Ministry of Environment and Forests, with Ashok Kumar, a leading wildlife conservationist associated with the Wildlife Protection Society of India. He also had the privilege of working as a research assistant with Dr. Ullas Karanth, a renowned conservation zoologist and one of India’s leading tiger experts.

Shrikanth Nayak

Shrikanth’s sheer passion and appetite for wildlife and the outdoors, along with his vast knowledge, have made him an indispensable part of the Bagh Villas team. Shrikanth has spent years studying various facets of nature, eventually leading a number of wildlife photography tours across the Western Ghats and has worked with the Karnataka Forest Department.
